August 4, 2006, Newsletter Issue #27: Get Inexpensive Car Insurance By Limiting Policy Features

Tip of the Week

You can save a lot of money if you evaluate your insurance needs before deciding on a car insurance policy. With a little time and effort, you can get inexpensive car insurance that only covers what you personally need. For example, if you have health insurance that offers complete coverage on hospital expenses, you might want to consider getting little or no personal injury protection coverage on your car insurance policy. Keep in mind that each state has different requirements for the minimum health insurance policy. While some only require liability insurance, others mandate that you must have car insurance that will cover your medical expenses. Check with your state's requirements before making any final decisions.
